The monster hunters are an order of people who hunt down and destroy monsters within the borders of the 5 kingdoms. Founded at the start of the 5 kingdoms by the 5 sovereigns not much is known about them, however they are known to have powers beyond that of normal human and have the permission of all the rulers of the land to walk freely. The hunters are in general liked as they deal with things that the common person cannot, however there are always questions as to how they get the powers which they have.

It is known that recently a new strategy has been taken by these monster hunters. People who have been cursed to become monsters are now sometimes taken by the hunters and put to use killing other monsters. There is varying feelings about this within the populous from disgust to mild agreement. No-one wants to have to kill the monsters themselves and the hunters are too few and far between to deal with all the issues that arise.

These new monsters are not considered to be member of the Monster hunters themselves and thus can be refused access to homes and villages, however they are used by the desperate and foolish. Only history will be able to tell what the outcome of letting these monsters live will be.
