If there are things you are trying to do in the game world sometimes you cant find the right people to get the game you are looking for. If you use this downtime action we will attempt to add the plot you are looking for into the game world. Some examples of what you could do are. 1) I would like to try in get in touch with bob the greatest builder in the land to organise building up the walls in the great city. 2) I want to have more talking encounters please, I am not getting enough of this and I want more. 3) Can I please get a chance to interact with my home city in the next game, I feel that my character is going to die soon and I want to wrap up this plot line.

As explained in the character creation section of the game you can have and use traits and songs. This option allows you to increase one of your traits or songs by one rank. Note that you are still limited to using 3 ranks of a trait at once. In order to learn a song you must know the songs name. Once you have the first rank of a song you can always learn the next rank. Some traits require you to have specific powers before you can learn them so it is possible that another character will have a trait that you simply cannot learn at least for now.

Mainly this will be for researching into something that you have come across. That could be a type of monster you have heard about and you want to know more about what kind of things it can do, or what it hunts. Or a story you have heard and you want to know where it comes from, or what its refering to.

Basically anything can be researched into and this option gives you the option to look into the world more.

Note that some things may not be possible for you to research because the information is lost or hiddern. If this happens then your DT will be changed to try to add that plot into the game so that you can get access to the information which you want to read about.
